You all know how much we love our fuzzy critters! They bring us so much joy and are so fun to watch and play with. I get such joy out of seeing the kids and the animals interact. We currently have 2 goats, 1 sheep, 6 ducks, 2 Guinea hens and a few dozen chickens living on our little hobby farm. The goats are for sure one of our favorites. They do such silly things and interact with the kids the most. The will eat food right out of the kids hands and running around after the kids. They are my babies and will even come over and snuggle up to me and let me hug on them, it’s just the sweetest!
The kids love to hold the chickens too when they can catch them. All of our critters are so friendly because we handle them all so much and spend time lots of time out the barnyard and yard playing with them.
We have a chicken coop for the chickens and the rest of the animals sleep in the barn at night to keep them safe from predators. Fil put some giant rocks and a tire swing in the barnyard for both the kids and the goats to play on and we are in the process of building a new climbing, sliding toy which I can’t wait to share when it’s done!
I would love to share more about our animals and help answer any questions you might have about backyard or hobby farming so please feel free to ask your questions below and I’ll do my best to answer them!
