Iced Thumbprint Cookies

I haven’t been doing much baking lately, it’s difficult to hold an infant and bake at the same time(not impossible, I’ve done it a few times now as Miss Libby loves to be held) but now that Libby has started napping better the time has come for me to get back in the kitchen. I follow Recipe For Crazy on Instagram and when she posted a picture of some adorable Iced Thumbprint Cookies she had made for her daughters birthday that were pink and orange I just knew I had to give them a try! I was so thankful that she so generously had the whole recipe all done up cute on her wonderful blog so on Saturday when Fil was home to help out with Libby I decided to get my bake on. I decided I love to bake again, I went through a phase when I wasn’t so into it, I think because Fil was baking a lot so we always had sweets around and I didn’t need to but the need to make cute yummy treats has come back to me. Sweets need to taste delicious but they also have to look cute for me to get really excited about them and these cookies fill both of those shoes. They were very easy to make and would be adorable for any party, event or just a Tuesday afternoon in any color scheme you want. I highly recommend heading over to Lesley’s blog Recipe For Crazy and seeing all the fun things she has going on, she shares lots of wonderful recipes and she even has an Etsy shop!

Warning these are addicting and I may have eaten half the batch myself in the last two days!
