We are so incredibly excited to announce that we are having a baby boy!! It was so fun to get to find out the sex of our baby after we had already been matched. The anticipation made it so fun and we even decided to do a gender reveal party!
I found out last Monday that we were having a boy from our birth mother! It was such an exciting moment and I couldn’t wait to start preparing for our little man! Phil wanted to wait until the gender reveal party on Friday night to be surprised, which made it so difficult and so fun. I told a few close friends and family but most everyone at the party didn’t know the gender so it was so exciting! I bought green and blue silly string for everyone who came to spray and then we also did a water gun filled with part water and part blue finger paint. Shortly after everyone started spraying us my dad grabbed the squirt gun from our friend and just kept spraying us so that Phil and I got covered! I was worried how it was going to turn out, but it ended up being the perfect evening! We had so much fun celebrating with friends and family.
Since it’s been seven years since I’ve had a little man I am having a ball looking at all the sweet baby boy things! I’ve ordered a few favorites and can’t wait to start packing his diaper bag and decorating the nursery. I just can’t wait to be a momma again and hold our new little munchkin in my arms! XO Lindsey
