I am so honored to share with you a little about the family we will be sponsoring during our October Sweetie sales!! This is the Vining Family and they are a true inspiration! Madison of @madisonviningphotography who is the wonderful momma to the Vining babies told me a little of their amazing story and I wanted to share it with you here!
The Vinings have 2 bio kiddos, Cade who is 5 and Story who is 3. The day before Valentines day, they adopted Nolan who was 3 months old at the time. Their heart was that Story would have a sister, and they prayed for God to bring another daughter to their family in His time (thinking that would be a couple years off : ) just 3 weeks ago, they heard of a little princess who was to be born soon and needed a loving home and they said that they would be that family. That Friday, their daughter Harbor was born. They had a tough week in the NICU battling withdrawals from drugs, but now she is HOME. They are all so in love with the way God has built their family – even if it’s totally crazy and totally outside of any comfort zone they could have possibly had. It’s His perfect timing, His incredible plan.
“Our kiddos are now 5, 3, 10 months, and newborn… and it’s such a blast!” Says Madison
I am so happy and thankful to get to play a tiny role in this families fabulous journey! We adopted our Miss Libby as a newborn domestically as well, so little Harbor takes me back to that amazing, scary and incredible time in our life that I will forever be thankful for!! Thank you @madisonviningphotography for letting us share a bit of your story and for helping to share about the amazing thing that adoption is!! I love you for that!!
