We are so excited for you to meet Alison from Starlit Nest. If there was ever a shop that makes me want to throw a party for no reason, this would be it! The Starlit Nest Etsy store is full of all sorts of adorable fabric buntings and their choice of fabrics couldn’t be cuter! She has so many of the latest designer fabrics and trendy patterns and colors! You all know one of my favorite color schemes is mint, gold and coral so I am just crazy for this bunting! I am also loving her brand new mini cake buntings, aren’t they just the sweetest!?! These fabric buntings are fabulous for your next event, party or gathering and also look great hung around your home!
What’s your favorite sweet treat? Salted Caramel Chocolate
Which do you prefer milk or dark chocolate? Dark!
What is your favorite time of day to create? After my morning espresso.
What’s your favorite holiday? My birthday of course!
What color describes your personality best? Dark aqua blue, the color of a tropical ocean because I am part mermaid.
If you had one what was the name of your childhood imaginary friend? I didn’t have one but my favorite Disney character was Snow White.
What makes your life sweeter? My husband, my cats, my immense fabric collection (which happens to fill 2 rooms of my house).
Why do you create what you create? Because if I didn’t I would probably go insane. I have more design ideas in my head than I will ever have time in my life to carry out. Sometimes the thought that I will never get to make all the quilts I want to make overwhelms me.

About you and what you create: My mother taught me to sew at the age of eight. I have been obsessed with fabric ever since then.
